KILAUEA
had been in eruption for over a year when MAUNA LOA began it's largest eruption in over thirty years on March 25. Mauna Loa produced over 200 million cubic meters of lava in the first week of this eruption, and the voluminous rivers of lava pouring down the volcano's east flank were spectacular indeed! |
